About the facilitator:
I wanted to introduce myself succinctly in order to inform you about my background and my academic and personal profile.
After obtaining my scientific baccalaureate in a prestigious Parisian high school, I embarked on scientific studies in CPGE (preparatory classes for the Grandes Ecoles). It was obviously an extremely demanding period and very early on we were confronted with environments where stress management became essential.
In parallel with my course in engineering school, my curiosity pushed me to broaden my horizons : while following my engineering training, I enrolled at the University of Paris 1_cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ Pantheon La Sorbonne. My university course stopped in license for reasons of incompatibility with my schedule in engineering school.
Always looking for new experiences and challenges , I validated my engineering school with an original end-of-studies internship: an associative television channel. While participating in the assembly of dossiers in order to obtain regional subsidies for the channel, I found myself a new passion: journalism! In particular, I presented an associative news program. I chose to work on a voluntary basis and to finance this voluntary project through a "food" job as a hotel receptionist.
After sitting in a chair for over 20 years from elementary school to engineering school, my body began to show signs of exhaustion and profound imbalances. In 2009, on leaving my engineering school, I worked in an insurance company in the center of Paris, while reconnecting with sports_cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ in a fin swimming competition club. I participated in the qualifications for the French championship: no qualification but the pride of having been at the end of the process.
Subsequently, I made the decision to fly to South America in order to reconnect with passion and adventure and continue à open my horizons. It was like a second birth for me. I reconnected with my passions : basketball, literature and poetry.
I resumed the practice of basketball that I had to give up during my post-baccalaureate course, diligently followed Iyengar® Yoga classes, and I converted into a French teacher, literature and poetry: this is my first conversion. My passion for basketball even pushed me to take training at the Argentinian national basketball school. I spent level 1 and level 2 there, which allowed me to coach the San Martin de los Andes team, Club Lacar, in regional competition.
2016 was a pivotal year. At the end of myself, physically and morally exhausted, I lived through a very difficult period of questioning and doubts about the follow-up to be given to all these experiences. Retrospectively and after having studied with passion the question of Stress, I understand that I experienced what is commonly called a burn-out. It was very slowly that I started to take an interest in the issue of stress management, which affects all disciplines, all professions: whether you are a CPGE student, a basketball coach, _cc781905- 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ receptionist, TV host, French teacher, employee in an insurance company etc.. we are always confronted with situations that can undermine our ability to adapt to our immediate environment.
Everything was becoming more and more clear. I then began to study the subject of stress management in depth. It's a multi-disciplinary subject and it's exactly the kind of job that could respond to my limitless curiosity and my search for meaning. I followed professional training to perfect my self-taught approach.Everything I learned allowed me to understand the expression "un mal pour un un bien" which is particularly telling in English: "a blessing in disguise". When it comes to stress management the issue of work on perception is essential.
Reading several authors, in particular the doctor Serge Marquis and Stephen W. Porges, confirmed my keen interest in the subject.
I had the opportunity to meet Eric Marlien, the first writer in the French language on polyvagal theory. I followed his training. I also discovered the crucial importance of cardiac coherence and followed Dr. O'hare's training. I specialized in the analysis of heart rate variability with cardiofeedback. At the same time, I met a fantastic and extraordinary human being on my way: Ben Patrick. He is a sports coach specializing in injury prevention. After having been a follower of his ATG training method and having personally been in telephone contact with him, I decided to follow the ATG sports coach training. Training to prevent injury is totally in line with my passion for stress management. Sport can often be traumatic for joints and ligaments. And the principle of absolute wisdom is not to wait to be thirsty to dig a well!
Two other trainings have supplemented my knowledge on the subject of stress management: that of mental trainer and relaxologist.
Rich in all his experiences, I now offer workshops, conferences, individual or group sessions for daily stress management to those who wish:
-
for athletes whether professional or amateur
- for companies to offer their employees a more serene environment where they will no longer have to choose between well-being and productivity
-
for people wishing to harmonize their daily lives and return or strengthen their ability to lead a more balanced life
